Hi, I am Tammy Matthews and I have been in the management and operations fields for over 20 years. Based on my experience, I can tell you that the management of people is the hardest form of management there is.
It is not a perfect science where you can simply use formulas and trending to help you motivate and deal with one off employee issues. Every employee has their own belief structure, work ethic and personal opinions/feelings that factor into every interaction you have with them.
Sure you can take management classes that provide you with theories on how to approach certain situations (and in fact I encourage this) but when it is you and the employee “one on one” how you translate that theory into practical application or ACTION will define who you are as a Manager!!
That is what I am here to talk with YOU about.
What makes me qualified to guide you through the “art” of managing people is my formal education coupled with real life experience.
I have a a Bachelors in Business Management and a Masters in Project Management. In my tenure, I have risen through the ranks starting as a team lead and eventually rising to a Senior Director of Operations.
In my career, I have taken over troubled areas such as non-profitable dept’s with poor morale and turned them into profitable entities with happy, efficient employees. How you ask? Well that is what I am here to lead you through.
